The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with immense pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm at Dr. B. S. Kushwah Institute of Medical Sciences on 26 January 2026. The entire campus resonated with the spirit of unity, discipline, and national integrity as MBBS students from Batch 2024–25 and Batch 2025–26 actively participated in a vibrant cultural programme. The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, proudly conducted by Dr. Anu Kushwah, Chairperson & CEO, BSKIMS, in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Prem Kumar Singh, Ex-Principal. The unfurling of the Tricolour symbolized the sacrifices, values, and democratic strength of our nation. Following the ceremony, a series of colourful cultural performances, including singing, dance, and other patriotic presentations, were showcased by the students, reflecting their talent, confidence, and deep love for the country. A highly motivational and inspiring address by Dr. Anu Kushwah, CEO of BSKIMS, left a lasting impact on the students, encouraging them to uphold constitutional values and strive for excellence as future healthcare professionals. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Ashish Bansal, Vice Principal; Dr. Ipsita Choudhury, Professor & Head, Department of Biochemistry; Dr. Shalini Arora, Professor, Biochemistry; Dr. Amit Kumar, Associate Professor, Community Medicine; and Mrs. Urvashi Midha, Tutor, Biochemistry, along with other respected faculty members. The dedicated efforts of the security staff, nursing staff, transport staff, and supporting teams also played a vital role in making the event successful.
