On 23 January 2026, Basant Panchami was celebrated with great
devotion and cultural fervor at Dr. B.S. Kushwah Institute of Medical
Sciences (DR BSKIMS), marking the auspicious occasion dedicated to
Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, and
learning. The program commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting,
symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the spread of
enlightenment across the academic community, followed by Prasad
Vitaran, which fostered a spirit of harmony, devotion, and collective
participation among all present. The celebration was graced by the
esteemed presence of Dr. Ashish Kumar Bansal, Vice Principal; Dr.
Harish Chandra Paliwal, Professor & HOD, Community Medicine; Dr.
Ipsita Choudhury, Professor & HOD, Biochemistry; Dr. Ambika
Bhatiani, Professor & HOD, Microbiology; Dr. Rashi Nigam, Professor,
Anatomy; Dr. Shalini Arora, Professor, Biochemistry; Mrs. Mamta
Singh, Librarian; and Mr. Lalit Srivastava, Mess Manager, whose
presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion. The event
witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 250 MBBS students of
Batch 2024–25 and Batch 2025–26, whose involvement reflected the
youthful energy and reverence associated with the festival. The Basant
Panchami celebration at DR BSKIMS served as a meaningful reminder of
