In a momentous event, the newly established Dr. B. S. Kushwaha Institute of Medical Sciences held its first Continuing Medical Education (CME) on December 17, 2023. The conference, titled 'Small Steps, Big Strides,' brought together distinguished guests, eminent medical professionals, and key figures from the Rama Group of Institutions.

Chief Guests and Speakers

Dr. Nandini Rastogi, IMA President Kanpur; Air Marshal Sadhna S Nair VSM DGHS (AF); Dr. Suraj BS Kushwaha Chancellor, Rama University & Mrs. Rama Chief Patron, Rama University President, Rama Educational Society and Rama University directors, Dr. Prateek singh and Dr. Pranav singh graced the occasion.

Inaugural Ceremony

The occasion began with a lamp lighting ceremony, which was followed by an exciting inaugural speech by the dean, Dr. Narinder Taneja AVSM VSM. Dr. Suraj BS Kushwaha addressed to those present, and our prominent guests, Dr. Nandini Rastogi and Air Marshal Sadhna S Nair VSM DGHS (AF), additionally addressed on the topic “care beyond the money”.

Scientific Sessions

Renowned doctors associated with the institute, including Dr. Kush Pathak (oncosurgeon), Dr. Anurag Gupta (orthopedic surgeon), Dr. DK Sinha (nephrologist), Dr. Ritesh Gangwar (cardiologist), Dr. Srishti Madhav (MDS), Dr. Abhishek Chauhan (psychiatrist), Dr. Nidhi Singh (dermatologist), and Dr. Vertika Sharma (pathologist), presented talks. Each expert shared valuable thoughts, experiences, and future plans for the institute.

Concluding Session

The highlight of the conference was the concluding session, featuring a demonstration of bystander CPR guided by Gp Capt GS Basra and Dr. Neha Gupta.
