Quiz competition fosters teamwork knowledge and academic enthusiasm among participants

The Department of Biochemistry successfully organized The Catalyst Clash 2026, an engaging and intellectually stimulating quiz competition exclusively for MBBS students of Batch 2025–26, held on 25th April 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Auditorium of Dr. B.S. Kushwah Institute of Medical Sciences (BSKIMS). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from first-year MBBS students, aiming to enhance conceptual understanding, promote academic excellence, and encourage a spirit of healthy competition among future medical professionals. The winners of the competition were Sweksha Agnihotri and Vridhi Maurya, who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and teamwork throughout the quiz. The runner-up position was secured by Jagriti and Rashi Singh, who also showcased commendable performance and strong academic skills. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Prem Kumar Singh, Ex-Principal, along with Dr. Ipsita Choudhury, Professor & HOD, Biochemistry, Dr. Urvashi Midha, Tutor, Dr. Shalini Arora, Professor, Biochemistry, and Dr. Pramod Kumar Pandey, Assistant Professor, Biochemistry, whose guidance and encouragement added great value to the event. From the ceremonial lamp lighting to the final award distribution, the event reflected a vibrant academic environment filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and intellectual excellence, making it a memorable and successful initiative by the Department of Biochemistry.
