20 Years of Giving Honored with Student-Led Blood Donation Camp

On the occasion of World Blood Donation Day, themed “20 Years of Celebrating Giving: Thank You Blood Donors!”, Dr. B.S. Kushwah Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanpur, organized a noble Blood Donation Camp to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation and create awareness about its life-saving impact. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the MBBS Batch 2024-25, with 50 firstyear students stepping forward to donate blood. Esteemed faculty members including Dr. Harish Chandra Paliwal (Professor, Community Medicine), Dr. Sanjeev Mehrotra and Dr. Divya Saxena (Pathology Department), along with Lt Col Dr. Brajesh Kumar (Medical Superintendent), Mrs. Baby Kamal (HR Head), and Mr. Rahul Dubey (Operational Manager), graced the occasion with their presence. The camp was also supported by the dedicated nursing and administrative staff, making the event a collective success. This initiative stands as a true reflection of compassion, unity, and medical responsibility toward saving lives.
