The department of Biochemistry studies the chemical basis of various biological processes. As the techniques of dealing with diseases at the molecular level are rapidly changing, the field requires students who are prepared to use new tools and approaches to address problems diligently.

Biochemistry fundamentals and their health implications are explained by theoretical lectures and practical classes. Round-the-clock diagnostic services are also provided by the department to the hospital. The diagnostic laboratory is equipped with specialized equipments to manage bulk samples and offer accurate reports with minimum turnaround time.
