Understanding the complexity of the human body is essential for a doctor and the department of Anatomy at Faculty of Dr. B. S. Kushwah Institute of medical Sciences provides a deep insight into this aspect of medical education.

The department provides the students with all necessary equipment that facilitates comprehensive learning.

Under the supervision and guidance of experienced and qualified doctors, students learn the concepts.

The department conducts anatomy sessions for undergraduate and post graduate students and the sessions include didactic lectures, demonstration of cadavers, dissection and micro study of individual organs. Teacher-student discussions are also carried out in the form of seminars and symposia.

• Dissection Hall with a capacity to accommodate 150
• Museum with 85 mounted specimens, clay/plastic models, charts, bones and skeleton aid The museum displays dissected human body parts, along with models of human body. The students will also get acquainted with the developmental details of prenatal life.
• Demonstration Room where a radiology lobby is setup with CT, MRI and X Ray images for applied radiological anatomy
• Histological Lab is equipped with a strong infrastructural setup with 85 microscopes and other equipment that will help students comprehend the microscopic structure of human organs and the organization of
